📦 Delivery & Pickup 7
Yes, always. Every rental includes free delivery and free pickup, no matter where you're staying in Tulum. Aldea Zama, La Veleta, Hotel Zone, Tulum Centro, Sian Ka'an buffer zone, jungle villas — all free. There is no distance minimum, no delivery zone premium, no fuel levy. The price you see is the price you pay.
We deliver 8am to 7pm, every day of the year — including Christmas, Easter, and Mexican public holidays. We take calls and WhatsApp messages until 8pm. If you need a delivery outside these windows, contact us — we'll do our best.
Absolutely — this is one of the most common situations we deal with. Just send us your WhatsApp location pin, or the name of your Airbnb listing, or a landmark nearby. Our team knows every road, dirt track, and unmapped lane in Tulum, including properties deep in the jungle. We have never failed to find a guest.
For delivery: yes, someone should be present. We need 5 minutes to fit the bikes to your height, hand over the lock, and answer any questions. For pickup: no, you don't need to be there at all. Just leave the bikes locked outside your accommodation and send us a WhatsApp — we'll collect them at a time that works for us both.
We send you a WhatsApp message approximately 30 minutes before we arrive. If we're running earlier or later than expected, we'll let you know. You can also message us at any time on the day of delivery to check our ETA.
Not at all. The Hotel Zone (Zona Hotelera) is one of our most popular delivery zones. Typical delivery time from our La Veleta base is 20–35 minutes. The same free delivery policy applies. We deliver to beach clubs, boutique hotels, bungalows, and everything along Boca Paila road.
We cover the Sian Ka'an buffer zone (30–45 min delivery) and most jungle villa areas. For truly off-grid locations, send us a GPS pin on WhatsApp first and we'll confirm delivery is possible. It almost always is. We bring the bikes in our van and can handle unpaved roads.
📅 Booking & Reservations 6
The fastest way is to book online — select your bikes, dates, and delivery details in about 3 minutes. You can also WhatsApp us or call. We ask for at least 2 hours' notice for same-day rentals. During high season (December–April) we recommend booking 1–3 days ahead to guarantee your preferred bike types and time slot.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before delivery. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a small logistics fee to cover the trip our team would have made. For same-day bookings cancelled same-day, contact us directly and we'll work something out. Refunds to card payments typically take 3–5 business days.
Yes, anytime. Just WhatsApp us before your current rental ends and tell us how many extra days you want. We'll extend it and send an updated total. We automatically apply the best rate for your new duration — so if extending to 7 days total, you get the weekly rate, even if you originally booked at the daily rate.
Yes. When you book online you receive an automatic email confirmation with your rental summary, delivery time, and total price. If you book via WhatsApp, we'll send a confirmation message with the same details. Keep this in case you need to reference your booking.
Yes — WhatsApp or email us with the change you need. Changing dates, bike types, delivery address, or time is usually straightforward and free. We just need enough notice to adjust logistics (ideally a few hours at minimum).
Yes — we accept same-day bookings with a minimum 2-hour window between booking and requested delivery time. During quiet periods we can often move faster than that. WhatsApp us directly for same-day requests so we can confirm availability instantly.
💰 Pricing & Payment 6
Beach cruisers (our most popular bike) start at $320 MXN per bike per day (~$19 USD). A weekly rental is $1,500 MXN per bike — saving you 33% versus daily. The monthly rate is $3,500 MXN. Children's bikes are 20% off all rates. All prices include free delivery, free pickup, a lock, and a basket. See the full pricing page for all options including bundle rates.
Online: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Mexican debit/credit cards via Stripe — no surcharge on any card. At delivery: cash in MXN or USD, and we also bring a card reader. For group bookings, we can issue an invoice and accept bank transfer.
None. The price listed is the total price. Delivery is always free. Pickup is always free. The lock is included. There is no card surcharge, no tourist tax, no seasonal premium. What you see is what you pay.
We do not require a cash deposit upfront. We trust our guests — and they trust us back. In the unlikely event of significant damage caused by misuse, we'll discuss it directly with you. For group bookings of 10+ bikes, we may request a small deposit to secure dates during high season.
All prices are in Mexican Pesos (MXN). At roughly $320 MXN per day, that's approximately $19 USD at current exchange rates. We accept USD cash at delivery using the day's exchange rate. Online payments are charged in MXN and converted by your card provider. Our pricing page shows both currencies with a live toggle.
Yes. We issue invoices and itemised receipts for all bookings, on request. For corporate retreats and group events, we provide full paperwork suitable for expense claims. Contact us to request an invoice, or mention it when booking.
🚲 The Bikes 6
Our fleet includes: Classic Beach Cruisers (single speed, upright seating, front basket — perfect for Tulum's flat terrain); Premium Beach Cruisers (wider tyres, more comfortable saddle, chrome details); Children's Bikes (20" frames, coaster brakes, suitable for ages 5–10); and Tricycles (3-wheeled, excellent for stability and carrying capacity — popular with older guests). See the full fleet for photos and specs.
Every bike is inspected by our head mechanic Luis before every rental. He checks tyres, brakes, chain tension, handlebars, and saddle. If anything isn't right, the bike doesn't leave the workshop. We replace rather than patch. Our guests regularly comment that our bikes are in notably better condition than others they've rented elsewhere in Tulum.
Every bike comes with: a quality padlock (free), a front basket, and front and rear reflectors. On request and at no charge: adult helmets, child helmets, and baby/toddler seats (fits adult cruiser frames). Just mention these when booking or in your WhatsApp message.
Our standard cruisers are single-speed, and that's perfectly fine for Tulum — the town and all surrounding areas are almost entirely flat. You won't miss gears on any of our five recommended routes. The only slight inclines are near the Tulum Ruins, which are gentle. Single-speed cruisers are actually ideal for Tulum's beach-road riding style.
Our cruiser frames fit most adults from around 150cm to 195cm (5'0" to 6'4"). At delivery, our team adjusts the seat height for every rider — we won't leave until it feels right. For unusual heights or specific needs, mention it when booking and we'll bring the most suitable frame. Children's bikes have their own sizing (see the fleet page).
Not currently. Tulum is so flat that most guests find our classic cruisers more than enough — even for full-day rides. We've had guests in their 70s and 80s ride comfortably all day. If electric bikes are something you need, let us know — it's on our roadmap for the future.
👨👩👧 Families & Children 5
Our children's bikes suit ages 5 to approximately 10, depending on the child's height. For smaller children who can't yet pedal independently, we offer baby seats that attach to an adult's cruiser (suitable for toddlers up to around 22kg). Helmets in children's sizes are available free on request — we always recommend them for kids.
Yes. Our Family Pack (2 adult bikes + 1 child bike) is $778 MXN per day — saving about 15% compared to booking each bike separately. We also have a Couple Pack (2 premium cruisers) at $576 MXN per day. Children's bikes are always 20% off individual rates. See all pricing →
Yes — baby seats are free with any adult cruiser rental. They mount to the rear rack and are suitable for children who can sit upright unsupported (approximately 9 months to 4 years, up to 22kg). Just mention you need one when booking or in your WhatsApp message and we'll bring it with the bike.
Yes — Tulum is very family-friendly by bike. The beach road (Boca Paila) is the best family route: minimal car traffic, a wide shoulder, stunning scenery, and completely flat. The Cenote Trail is also very popular with families — paved, shaded jungle roads with rewarding swimming stops. We recommend starting early (7–9am) when traffic is lightest. See our routes guide →
Helmets (adult and child sizes) are available free on request. They are not legally required in Tulum for recreational riding, but we always recommend them — especially for children and for rides along busier roads. Just ask for them when booking and we'll include them at delivery.
🛠️ During Your Rental 5
Don't worry — we come to you. Our roadside technician covers Tulum daily from 10am to 4pm. WhatsApp us your location and what's wrong and he'll be there. If the repair can't be done on the spot, we'll arrange a replacement bike. Outside assistance hours, leave a message — we'll arrange a replacement for the following morning and you won't be charged for any time you couldn't ride.
WhatsApp us straight away. We carry a master key for all our locks, so we can come to you and open it at no charge. A small replacement lock fee ($80 MXN) may apply if the original lock is also lost, but the bike itself is not your responsibility to replace — that's what our fleet maintenance budget is for.
Contact us immediately. We'll ask for a brief description of where and when it was left. Always lock the bike whenever you leave it, even briefly. If the bike was locked and stolen (very rare in Tulum), we handle it on a case-by-case basis — we're reasonable people. If the bike was left unlocked and taken, there may be a replacement fee. This situation is extremely uncommon and hasn't been a significant issue in our eight years of operation.
Anywhere secure — a fixed fence, pole, or bike rack. At the Tulum Ruins, there's a bike parking area near the car park entrance. At cenotes, lock to the fence or a tree outside. At beach clubs, most have a designated spot or will let you bring the bike inside. Rule of thumb: always lock, even for 5 minutes. Our locks are quality — a quick click is all it takes.
Yes — our bikes are designed for tropical beach use and handle rain and humidity well. Riding in light rain is perfectly fine. In a heavy downpour or thunderstorm, we'd suggest waiting it out (the jungle offers good shelter). After wet riding, a quick dry of the chain with a cloth helps, but it's not mandatory — we maintain the bikes on our end. The wet season (June–October) actually has the most beautiful light and fewest crowds.
🎉 Groups & Events 4
Our maximum fleet size is 70 bikes in a single booking. We've handled weddings, corporate retreats, yoga retreats, and tour operator partnerships at this scale. For groups over 40, we typically coordinate the logistics in advance to ensure everything arrives together and on time. See our groups page →
Yes. Group rates apply automatically based on volume: 10–19 bikes: 10% off, 20–39 bikes: 15% off, 40+ bikes: 20%+ off with a custom quote. Returning clients (tour operators, retreat centres) get an additional 5% loyalty discount. Request a group quote →
We love weddings. We've added flower baskets, ribbon streamers, and personalised decorations to bikes for destination weddings — Claire and Julien's wedding is a favourite story. Decorations are done as a personal touch and aren't charged separately for bookings of 15+ bikes. Mention your vision when enquiring and we'll make it happen.
Yes — several Tulum tour operators and hotels use us as their bike partner. We offer reseller/trade rates, priority availability, dedicated WhatsApp contact, and invoicing. If you regularly need bikes for clients, get in touch and we'll set up a partnership arrangement that works for both sides.
