The Route de Plage Classic
The iconic Tulum experience. Ride south along Boca Paila road with the Caribbean on your left and the jungle on your right. Pass the Ruines de Tulum, beach clubs, boutique hotels, and cenotes along the way. The sea breeze keeps you cool even at midday. Most guests do this route at least once.
The Piste des Cenotes
The most rewarding ride in Tulum — a jungle road connecting three incredible cenotes. Ride west from Centro along the Coba road, stopping at Gran Cenote, Cenote Calavera, and Cenote Cristal. Swim between each stop and end at a roadside coctelería for fresh ceviche. Perfect for families — children love the cenotes.
The Ruins Loop
Start in Centro and ride north on Avenida Tulum, turning east toward the archaeological zone. Lock your bike at the ruins entrance and walk the clifftop site overlooking the sea — one of the most dramatic archaeological sites in Mexico. Return via the beach road for a different view. Ideal for a half-morning.
The Centro Boucle en Ville
Skip the tourist circuit for a morning with the locals. Ride through Tulum Centro, stopping at the market for fresh fruit, the taquería for breakfast tacos, and the town park where families gather. This is the real Tulum that most visitors never see — and it's only possible on a bike.
The Jungle Path
The adventure route — west into the jungle from La Veleta along unpaved roads and dirt tracks. Pass through small ranchos, through avocado farms, and along narrow paths canopied by jungle. Reward: a little-known cenote with almost no other visitors. Best suited for confident cyclists comfortable on loose gravel.
